Registered Dental Hygienist

About the Position

We are looking for a dental hygienist who is motivated to improve the oral and systemic health of their patients, compliant with evidence-based dentistry, and comfortable in co-diagnosing with their doctor.

We are an office that is growing and in need of additional providers to join the already amazing team. We are looking for someone who is self-reliant and dependable and ready to grow with us!

Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental hygiene procedures including, but not limited to, iTero scans, radiographs, perio charting, periodontal and prophylaxis procedures, application of adjunctive products where indicated, and educating the patients.

Job Type: Full-time (Monday - Thursday)

Responsibilities

  • Perform dental hygiene procedures, including use of ultrasonic units, scaling, and polishing
  • Completion of iTero scans, intraoral imaging, and dental x-rays, as indicated
  • Conduct patient assessments and oral health screenings
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Follow strict infection control protocols and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
  • Dispensing prescription or OTC medicaments (Chx rinse, Fl2 Varnish, Clinpro5000 etc), as indicated
  • Recommend appropriate home care products

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
  • Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and procedures
  • Proficiency in using dental software systems (ie Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Denticon) for healthcare documentation
  • Familiarity with healthcare records management and patient assessment techniques
  • Previous experience in a DSO setting is a plus

Qualifications

  • Valid state license as a Dental Hygienist
  • CPR certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
